7 Days (8 Nights) Safari

After breakfast at 6:30 we take off to Samburu G.R. at the border to the semi-desert of North Kenya (Northern frontier district). In the afternoon we reach Samburu Ashnil Lodge for lunch and get ready for our first safari in the afternoon. This region is home of typical East African wildlife such as grevy zebras, herds of elephants, net giraffes, plains zebras, buffalos and lots of other mammals. Dinner and overnight stay back at Samburu Ashnil Lodge.

Todays theme is entirely about watching wildlife species: Before breakfast we start off with a safari in the early morning and return to Samburu Ashnil Lodge with our first impressions enjoying breakfast there. Now we get ready for a full-day tour across Samburu G.R. with plenty of time for you to observe wildlife in the vast savannah and at the palm-fringed Nyiro River. In between the tour we have a picnic; dinner and overnight stay at Samburu Ashnil Lodge.

After breakfast we take off to the proteceted area of Sweetwaters and the Rhino Sanctuary visiting “Morani”, which is a very tame rhino. We then have a picnic on the way in the bushes. Samburu Sweetwaters Wild Resere and Chimp Sanctuary are the only ones of that kind in Kenya. We can easily observe chimps, which were settled here for protection from the hunters, in line with the Jane Gooddall Project which was initiated in Burundi and Kongo. Continuing our tour to Sweetwater Camp for dinner and overnight stay we now cross the equator.

After breakfast depart to Amboseli N.P have lunch in kibo safari camp ,in afternoon have game drive come back for dinner and overnight.

After an early breakfast we take off to Lake Nakuru in the Rift Valley, which is wellknown worldwide for its colonies of flamingos. The alkaline lake is regarded as one of the natural wonders on earth. Sometimes there is almost 2 million flamingos forming a wonderful pink belt around the lake. Lake Nakuru is also known as a Rhino Sanctuary with a population of more than 30 black and white rhinos. A couple of years ago a few exemplars of the endangered net giraffes were resettled to this place; meanwhile their population has increased a lot. We then drive on to lake nakuru flamingo Lodge having lunch there. After some rest we go for another safari in the nearby area. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

After breakfast we take off to Maasai Mara, a reserve which is popular for its black-maned lions and many other wildlife species. At this place the chances are high to spot the “Big Five”. But Maasai Mara is even more famous for its yearly gnu migrations – probably the biggest wildlife spectacle of Africa. We have lunch and some rest at the Olumara tented Camp and get ready for another safari. Dinner and overnight stay at the camp.
